Position Summary
Supports operational improvement projects throughout the organization including both clinical and non-clinical areas to accomplish measurable business process improvements. Analyzes and measures the effectiveness of existing processes and helps to develop sustainable, repeatable and quantifiable clinical and business process improvements. Collects and analyzes process and quality data to initiate, develop, and recommend operational practices and procedures that focus on enhanced safety, increased productivity, and reduced cost. May focus on either quality or process improvement.
Basic Qualifications:
Education - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in engineering or field closely related to operational improvement/process improvement/project management, health care, business administration, nursing, medical technology (clinical lab science), or related field
Experience - 2 years of experience typically gained through skills/knowledge/abilities in implementing successful, organization-wide operational improvement launches in the health care industry, quality improvement/facilitation, experience in an organization of size and complexity comparable to Spectrum Health, clinical nursing, health care or health plan environment, in a laboratory with clinical testing, computer experience and skills with access database and/or excel programs

Registered Nurse (RN) SHGR - NICU Upon Hire
Preferred Qualifications:
