Beginning Pay Range: $36,660.00- $39,104.00 $3000.00 *bonus 30 days after hire and $2000.00 bonus after 4 months of employment

About this Opportunity:
A Supports Coordinator provides family-focused services to children with developmental disabilities for the purpose of assisting the child in building on their strengths and helping the family to remain safely together in the family home. The Supports Coordinator will work in an environment convenient to the child and family to assist with linking, monitoring, and coordinating services.

Our ideal candidate will have minimum education requirements that include a 4 year degree in the following: psychology, physician, education from an accredited program, social work, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, audiology, registered nurse, registered dietician, therapeutic recreation, or a licensed or limited-licensed professional counselor and a minimum of one year experience working with people who have been diagnosed with a developmental disability. You must possess a knowledge of community resources and supports for children and families, and the skills necessary to facilitate and encourage positive change towards treatment goals. It is required to have a valid driver's license, good driving record and adequate insurance with a car available at all times. This candidate will have basic computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, electronic record systems and other software programs. In addition, having the the ability to articulate ideas and prepare written reports and correspondence that are of a high professional standard, are grammatically correct and are timely are a must. This candidate will have the ability to collaborate with school, department of health & human service, behavioral health and medical health personnel. You must maintain knowledge of and follow the code of ethics for your profession and agree to abide by the related agency policies. This candidate will have the ability to be self-directed and autonomous while also operating as an interdisciplinary along with having the ability to work with a variety of clients and staff of differing socio-economic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds. Lastly, having personal qualities of organizational skills, assertiveness, good judgment, conscientiousness, attention to detail, timeliness, warmth, sensitivity, and ability to establish meaningful therapeutic relationships is essential.
