Long Description
The Internal Audit Intern will be provided the opportunity to work with the Internal Audit team in performing internal control testing and financial statement audits. Responsibilities may include identifying, documenting, monitoring and testing of internal controls as well as obtaining, analyzing, evaluating, and updating documentation related to controls and processes. This role will allow a candidate to lead, with supervision from the Director, Internal Audit and Global Audit Manager, a review over the global expense reporting process. Interns will be experience the global mindset while performing this review working with Gentherm colleagues from across the globe to understand the process and ensure compliance.
Minimum requirements:
•Must be pursuing an undergraduate degree in Accounting
•Course work in Audit, Internal Audit, and/or Accounting Information Systems preferred
•Detail oriented, hardworking, inquisitive, and enthusiastic
•Excellent verbal and written communication
