Torch Technologies is seeking a software and data
management specialist with experience in software
Configuration Management including all aspects of
lifecycle management such as requirements, architecture,
development, testing and operations for a federal
government customer. We are seeking a motivated person
who embraces innovation and continuous, standards-driven
process improvement. Our customer provides cutting edge
technologies for the ground vehicle community within DoD
and the candidate will be involved in challenging
software engineering efforts in that domain. The work is
critical to maintaining sound software engineering
practices and the resultant operational systems
solutions.
The successful candidate will become a member of a high
functioning CMMI certified organization and be
responsible for ensuring CM processes. The candidate
will report to the Government s designated CM lead and
provide the CM lead role for the contractor team. Duties
include the design, implementation and test of software,
scripting and configuring tools for automation and
maintenance of the CM tool-suite. This position is
responsible for custom test and infrastructure tools as
required for CM functions as well as automation and
distribution scripts for system builds and distributions
for a myriad of target systems, baselines and missions.
Requirements: * Design and integrate Web-based Tools for CM Processes * Understanding and proficiency with DOD and industry standard software processes * Understanding and proficiency with one or more of C++, Java, Javascript, Python, bash and powershell is preferred * Maintaining process tools including Jenkins, Jira, Bitbucket (Git), Confluence * Experience with formal software test including unit test, static analysis tools and test planning * Experience with/using Agile processes * Experience as a developer on a software development team that uses formal (CMMI Level 2 or above) methods will be considered a positive * Linux and Microsoft Window experience including the ability to obtain an Operating System Certification such as Linux+ may be necessary * Ability to obtain a Security+ Certification may be necessary * Experience with the management of a DI2E toolset a plus

will work in a team environment using state of the art
software methodologies and processes. Candidates must be
U.S. Citizens and able to obtain and maintain a security
clearance. This position may require some travel.
