DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Federal-Mogul's Powertrain Division is looking for a Finance IT Team Lead that will be responsible for supporting Tenneco Powertrain Corporate Finance and Shared Service requirements managed through SAP and non-SAP business systems. This person will become a valued member of our Informational Systems Department, where we strive to promote from within wherever possible; therefore, opportunities for advancement are strong.
An ideal candidate for this position is a candidate who possesses a Bachelor's degree in Informational Systems or an equivalent degree and at least 5 years of working experience. Strong attention to detail, significant capability, drive, and initiative to create and manage own work agenda are all necessary qualifications for this position.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Deliver support to Finance Business Community through strong analytical and business problem solving skills
•Understand multiple business requirements coming from a complex, federated type of organization, in particular supporting the Corporate component of such organization
•Harmonize IT guidelines, processes and configurations where this delivers value to the organization
•Work with Corporate Finance group to understand requirements and support with IT solutions recommendations.
•Engage with business and the SAP team for Finance Systems improvements.
•Evaluate SAP and non-SAP new solutions to determine fit level and potential for usage in the context of Tenneco central finance processes.
•Assist the SAP maintenance team with design specifications and project scoping.
•Engage external consultants working with Purchasing to finalize SOW, RFQ's.
•Design solutions, taking advantage of latest SAP strategies & technologies (FIORI, etc.)
•Document process designs and obtain business approvals for new developments
•Take responsibility for Project Task Coordination and Resources
•Progress reporting with management
•Report key issues to management
•Provide finance support and project coordination to Corporate and Shared Service teams as required
•Manage, coach and develop IT resources assigned to him/her
REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree in Informational Systems or an equivalent degree; Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field is preferred
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
•Minimum 7 years of SAP work experience, some of which in a global environment
•5+ years of experience supporting FI processes in discreet and repetitive manufacturing environments and/or in a distribution environment
•5+ years of SAP FI and CO configuration experience
•5+ years of Level III support experience
•Excellent SAP technical expertise (SAP) certification preferred
•Implementation and support experience in a global environment is highly preferred
•Project Management experience
•SAP ECC6 experience is highly preferred
•Candidates must have the ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently
•Must possess a disciplined approach and commitment to delivering proper designs to the SAP support team
•Strong analytical approach to problem solving and solution development
•Ability to review functional and technical specifications and make recommendations for improvement
•Willingness to adhere to a standard, global template and maintain consistency of the global process model
•Ability to effectively coordinate team activities where team members may be located throughout the world
•Self-starter with the ability to independently resolve issues and deliver results
•Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
•Ability to travel internationally - up to 30%
