Job Overview
Haworth's Internship Program:
Haworth has a formalized intern program where you are part of a group of cross functional interns learning about the entire scope of business with weekly knowledge series events. You will be paired with a senior level professional in your area of the business. You will have responsibility for specific projects with goals, daily tasks, attending meetings and providing departmental support.
We are currently looking for a paid Instructional Designer Intern to join our community in Holland, MI.
As a Instructional Designer Intern you will:
Participate in the design and development of product training, selling skills training and application and specification training for our field sales and dealer development teams. Partner with stakeholders and subject matter experts to gather content.
Do you have these required qualifications?
•Current fulltime college student working towards a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Instructional Design, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Human Resources or Organizational Development with expected graduation date between December 2020 and May 2022.
•Overall GPA of at least 3.0
•Current and continuing right to work in the United States without sponsorship.
•Ability to work in Holland, MI without relocation assistance.
Do you have these preferred qualifications?
•Knowledge of eLearning authoring applications.
•Experience working on projects related to learning and development.
•Interest in developing learning and development programs.
•Goals to develop these programs in a corporate environment after school.
Ideally, you have also demonstrated the following:
•Excellent verbal and written communication.
•Ability to interact at various levels of an organization.
•Ability to work with minimal supervision.
•Capability with various technologies.
