DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Tenneco's Powertrain Division islooking for an Account Manager that will be responsible for developing andmanaging current business commercial issues and new business opportunities forTenneco's bearings, bushings and washers' business unit and interacting withthe Purchasing, Marketing, Engineering, and Quality functions at each customer.This person will become a valued member of our Bearings Sales and Marketingteam, where we strive to promote from within wherever possible; therefore,opportunities for advancement are strong.
An ideal candidate for this position is a candidate who preferably possesses aDegree in Engineering, Degree in Finance or Economics, Bachelor of BusinessAdministration, or similar and proven professional experience in the AutomotiveIndustry. The ability to perform detailed customer presentations, to manage andcoordinate multiple projects concurrently and to evaluate the business issuesand prioritizes activities are all necessary qualifications for this position.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Liaises primarily with the Sales Manager Bearings, VP Sales, Sales Administration, other Account Managers and Application Engineering.
•Works across all functional groups of the company and other Tenneco bearing locations worldwide.
•Act as key customer contact within the Tenneco organization (one face to the customer).
•Evaluate and keep record of Tenneco's competitive position and market share for every customer on a continuous basis, liaise closely with the Sales Manager Bearings.
•Visit customers on a regular basis and support both the Sales Department and Application Engineering in developing specific sales strategies for customers, projects and parts.
•Contribute actively to establishing annual sales plans and strategic plans as well as medium- and long term sales forecasts by customer, as may be required by the Sales Department.
•Support special projects and corporate activities such as material recovery, red ink, SOPS, profit enhancement.
REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION:
•Preferring Degree in Engineering, Degree in Finance or Economics, Bachelor of Business Administration, or similar.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
•Preferred 2-5 years of OEM Powertrain experience.
•Ability to perform detailed customer presentations.
•Ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects concurrently.
•Ability to evaluate the business issues and prioritizes activities.
