Position Purpose:
Assist in ensuring that Genisys Credit Union is in compliance with all state and federal laws and regulations, by performing various internal quality control reviews/audits on a routine basis. Assesses the adequacy and extent of programs designed to safeguard Credit Union assets.
Job Duties (include but not limited to):
- Assists in the credit union’s overall compliance with applicable rules, regulations and statutory requirements.
- Performs ongoing quality control reviews/audits to ensure compliance will regulations, with emphasis on Fair Lending.
- Reports findings related to internal quality reviews to designated members of management.
- Follows up on examination, audit and compliance review findings and recommendations to ensure adequate corrective action has been completed.
- Reviews and monitors the credit union’s record retention procedures concerning retention, retrieval, preservation, and disposition of data.
Qualifications:
- High School graduate or equivalent required.
- 2 year degree or specialized training preferred.
- Thorough knowledge of applicable federal and state financial regulations.
- Understanding of real estate law, loan procedures and documentation, and auditing
