Haworth’s Internship Program:
Haworth has a formalized intern program where you are part of a group of cross functional interns learning about the entire scope of business with weekly knowledge series events. You will be paired with a senior level professional in your area of the business. You will have responsibility for specific projects with goals, daily tasks, attending meetings and providing departmental support
We are currently looking for a paid Quality Team Intern to join our team in Holland MI - HQ.
As a Quality Team Intern, you will:
Under the direction of a senior engineer, roles & responsibilities may include:
* Assisting with development and updating of Control Plans and PFMEAs
* Review and update standard work, ensure proper inspection points are in place
* Working with the supplier quality team
* Cost savings projects
* Other project work as assigned
Do you have these required qualifications?
* Full-time college students working towards a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Engineering with at least Junior level status by Fall 2020.
* Overall GPA of at least 3.0.
* Current and continuing right to work in the United States without sponsorship.
* Ability to work in Holland, MI without relocation assistance or housing assistance.
Do you have these preferred qualifications?
* Microsoft programs experience
* Problem solving and continuous improvement
* Project work experience
Ideally, you have also demonstrated the following:
* Ability to work with minimal supervision
* Working knowledge of personal computers, spreadsheet applications and keyboard skills
* Interpersonal communication skills
* Business acumen
