DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for developing partnerships with our business by working directly with, hiring managers and HR partners to develop and enhance strategies to ensure successful delivery of talent to the organization. This role manages the hiring process by proactively learning about hiring needs, leading the intake process with hiring managers, developing sourcing strategies, and providing a differentiated candidate experience. The primary focus of the role is to identify and select top talent for key openings through best-in-class sourcing methods. The role is responsible for building and managing relationships in order to fully understand hiring needs and ensure a proactive approach. Other responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following: phone interviewing, offer negotiation, utilization of sourcing tools, and maintaining an Applicant Tracking System.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Requisition/Open Position Management which includes candidate screening, as well as Applicant Tracking System management (consistently reviewing and assessing talent pipeline for each open position and dispositioning candidates accordingly)
•Consistently consult and collaborate with hiring managers regarding expectations, challenges and strategies
•Develop long-term and immediate Sourcing Strategies and communicate best practices
•Lead weekly meetings with hiring managers and HR to assess candidate and open position status
•Maintain a strong understanding of the Tenneco business so candidates are well informed and candidates sourced well align with business needs
•Monitor performance metrics such as Time to Fill, Interview to Offer ratios, Hiring Manager satisfaction, and create action plans if needed
•Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to provide recommendations for process improvements.
•Development and delivery of presentations to human resource partners and hiring managers that display the long-term sourcing strategy, challenges, and opportunity areas for the various departments/ business units in which you are assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
REQUIRED:
•Bachelor's Degree
•Minimum of 4 years of recruiting experience
•Strong communication, organization, and follow-up skills
PREFERRED:
•Automotive Industry experience
•Demonstrated success within a corporate recruiting environment
