Manager, Strategy - 190000F4
DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Manager, Strategy is responsible for supporting functions related to annual and long-term strategy and planning including but not limited to research, development, assessment, and communication of key business and product / technology strategies. This position will partner with key stakeholders, providing enterprise-wide strategic initiative support by supporting the development, evaluation and recommendation of business plans, operating models, and products / technologies to determine the best fit for the organization. They also support the communication of strategies to executives and the Board of Directors. The ideal candidate is a critical and strategic thinker with a proven ability to aggregate, synthesize and communicate information in formats that are clear and effective. Responsible for performing analysis of data, reports, processes and results, translating multiple inputs into useable information for leadership.
Job Responsibilities:
* Monitor and evaluate industry trends including customers, competitors, technologies, regulations, disruptors, etc.,
* Partner with other functional areas to ensure market intelligence is systematically captured and analyzed
* Support the development of specific business unit long term strategies - including market sizing and segmentation, customer and competitor analysis, sources of advantage, potential “right to win”, and strategic choices
* Monitor business unit performance against achieving long term objectives
* Lead ad-hoc “internal consulting” projects as needed (e.g. operating model improvements, footprint changes, etc.)
* Lead the business unit strategic planning process
* Lead business development team in identification and evaluation of potential targets
* Lead corporate and product strategy topics, as needed
