Position Description:
Engineer responsible for development of a range of robotic applications with intent for use in ground vehicles in support of customer. Ongoing projects include upgrades for the Multi Utility Tactical Transport (MUTT) platform, Drive By Wire tele-operation and autonomy control mechanisms for developmental prototypes, robotics components of Next Generation Electronic Architecture (NGEA) development for use in future combat platforms, and the Robotics Collaborative Technology Alliance (RCTA) research consortium. Engineering disciplines in the group include Software Engineering or Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and System Engineering.
Responsibilities include:

•Planning of assigned Engineering tasks,
Position Requirements:
Basic Qualifications include:
•BS degree in Engineering or Science discipline
•Proficient in C / C++
•Background that includes software development efforts
•Familiarity with System Engineering Process fundamentals
•Proficiency with Microsoft applications including Excel, Project, Powerpoint, and Word
•Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
•Ability to work within multi-disciplined team
•Ability to travel as required
Preferred qualifications include:
•Degree in Software Engineering / Computer Science
•Direct Vetronics development experience
•Familiarity with Robot Operating System (ROS)
•Familiarity with combat vehicle requirements
•Experience with safety critical systems
•Experience with Atlassian development tools (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket)
•Familiarity with CAN
•Planning, navigation, and mobility algorithms
•Background in Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning
•Experience with passive and active robotic sensor technology
