DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Federal-Mogul's Powertrain Division is looking for a SAP FICO Analyst that will be responsible for the delivery, support, improvement of processes and functionalities within an automotive manufacturing & distribution organization, utilizing latest technology and SAP system solutions This person will become a valued member of our Informational Systems Department, where we strive to promote from within wherever possible; therefore, opportunities for advancement are strong.
An ideal candidate for this position is a candidate who possesses a Bachelor's degree in Informational Systems or an equivalent degree and at least 2-3 years of working experience. Strong attention to detail, significant capability, drive, and initiative to create and manage own work agenda are all necessary qualifications for this position.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Work as part of the SAP Maintenance team, accountable for resolving AR, AP, GL, CO-PC, CO-CCA, Asset Management, Product Costing related issues raised via the helpdesk
•Identify root cause for recurring issues, make/implement proposals for their elimination
•Assist or take responsibility for estimating and conducting development work end to end (requirement analysis, estimates, functional spec, testing, etc.)
•Ensure system changes conform to the Global Template
•Manage and support finance processes such as Invoice Processing, VAT, Electronic Bank Integration, Cost of Goods Sold accounting, Intercompany postings, PPV analysis, US GAAP rules vs European GAAP and other Asia Pac GAAP Rules.
•Provide month-end and year-end process improvements and support.
•Manage and support controlling processes such as Product Costing, Profit Center Accounting, and Profitability Analysis.
•Design solutions to enable these processes in SAP, using SAP application functionalities and avoiding as much as possible any development
•Document process, configuration, and user instructions
•Assist or take responsibility for conducting key or end-user trainings
•Assist with estimating work requests; service level measurement.
•Manage the Solution, Monitoring for supported interfaces. Coordination with partners, manage enhancements and provide support.
•Report key issues to the management
•Provide On-call support during weekends & holidays when needed.
•Provide FICO support to BU/Regional teams when needed
REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Informational Systems or an equivalent degree; Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or an equivalent degree preferred.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
•3+ years of experience supporting FI processes in discreet and repetitive manufacturing environments and/or in a distribution environment
•3+ years of SAP FI and CO configuration experience
•3+ years of Level III support experience
•Excellent SAP technical expertise (SAP) certification preferred
•Extensive integration and regression testing experience
•Implementation and support experience in a global environment highly preferred
•SAP ECC6 experience is highly preferred
•Knowledge of project management preferred
•Candidates must have the ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently
•Must possess a disciplined approach and commitment to delivering on Service Level Agreements (SLA's)
•Strong analytical approach to problem solving and solution development
•Experience working with a very formal change control process
•Ability to review functional and technical specifications and make recommendations for improvement prior to development
•Willingness to adhere to a standard, global template and maintain consistency of the global process model
•Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
•Knowledge of Spanish Language (Mexico plants) a Plus
•Ability to travel internationally - up to 10%
•Ability to effectively work in a team where other team members may be located throughout the world
•Self-starter with the ability to independently resolve issues and deliver results
