Summary
Quotes, sells, and manages lifecycle of vendor's hardware and software maintenance renewals and/or actively closes complementary vendor products. Acts as primary focal point for hardware and software maintenance sales cycle directly with end user customer. Coordinates renewal opportunities with Logicalis Account Executive, ensuring execution of overall sales plan that meets customer refresh as well as contract renewal needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Sells directly into Logicalis installed base and new business accounts.
* Works directly with customers to position, quote, and sell software and software maintenance contracts.
* Manages installed base accounts with minimal Logicalis Account Executive involvement, forecasts sales to management, and works toward team gross profit goal.
* Engages and works closely with Account Executives to manage large opportunities that require additional resources and expertise.
* Qualifies and manages vendor leads and acts as sales hunter in an inside sales capacity.
* Obtains maintenance quotes and contracts from distributor.
* Maintains and updates customer database (address, contacts, history of hardware, and contracts).
* Tracks renewal of maintenance contracts.
* Nurtures installed base customers with monthly follow up.
* Maintains skill level in areas o f expertise by attending education updates as needed.
* Keeps management informed of customer issues or concerns.
* Demonstrates and actively promotes an understanding and commitment to the mission of Logicalis through performing behaviors consistent with the organization's values.
* Maintains a working knowledge of applicable Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations as well as policies and procedures of Logicalis in order to ensure adherence in a manner that reflects honest, ethical and professional behaviors.
* Supports and conducts self in a manner consistent with customer service expectations.

Education/Experience/Technical Requirements/Certifications
Education:
* Associate's Degree in a related field.
Experience / Technical Requirements:
* 3 years of experience in inside sales/customer service in IT arena; including familiarity with enterprise technology solutions, services sales and telemarketing.
* Knowledge of IBM or HP support contracts and maintenance renewals.
* Experience with sales measured by quota performance.
* Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications.
* May consider an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certifications
* Vendor specific certifications.
