What you'll do:
As a Fleet Safety Associate, your responsibilities will include ongoing implementation and maintenance of company-wide EHS programs and systems. In this role, you can expect to:
* Interface with federal, state and local government agencies (DOT, OSHA) as needed
* Investigate crashes and manage regulatory investigation/inspection
* Organize and execute Fleet Safety/DOT audits
* Ability to effectively manage Fleet Safety/DOT programs and deliver strong defensive driving training initiatives
* Execute within an EHS budget process
* Ability to perform risk assessments and determine plausible corrective actions
* Ability to lead risk reduction initiatives
* Analyze crash data trends & performance to ensure that the right priorities are identified and acted upon
* Identify issues, coach and lead field locations in development of a corrective action plan to address basic root causes and management system weak-spots through the use of industry-recognized cause analysis techniques
Conduct periodic site visits and facilitate Fleet Safety activities such as training/auditing/assessing to ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements and company Fleet Safety processes and policies.

Qualifications/Requirements
* Minimum BS in Occupational Health & Safety or related degree, (ASP/CSP is a plus)
* Ability to manage multi-locations and Fleet Safety programs and people
* Knowledge of DOT regulations
* Excellent oral and written communications, including speaking/presenting before large audiences
* Self-motivated, high performer
