The Provisioning Analyst I is an entry level position within the Provisioning department. The Provisioning Analyst I is expected to gain proficiency in at least one area within the Provisioning team: Analog Voice, Digital Voice, or Broadband/Data Services. Primary responsibilities include coordinating all stages of order processing from submission to carrier through service installation/activation and supporting internal customers as a subject matter expert in new implementation & MACD ordering for area of proficiency.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Prepares, processes, and submits orders to ILECs, CLECs, & vendors nationwide for new installations, moves, changes, and disconnects of telecommunications technologies.
Tracks all provisioning orders for the entire life cycle of the order installation and communicate ongoing and milestone statuses.
Participates in status calls with carriers/vendors as needed.
Escalates orders & vendor/carrier when appropriate.
Acts as back up for all Provisioning Analyst positions as assigned.
Identifies opportunities for process improvements that will result in demonstrated increases in production quality, efficiency, or quantity.
Creates, Maintains, and Updates internal documentation as necessary.
Acts as 1st level internal resource to assist team members in performing duties and providing expertise as needed.
Maintains the acceptable standards of efficiency and quality established by the company to ensure customer satisfaction.
Adheres to all policies, practices, and standards of the Company and our clients to ensure good order and discipline on the production floor.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Two-year degree; 1-3 years’ experience in telecommunications provisioning, project management, or order management preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in wireline telecommunications ordering, provisioning, or troubleshooting. Previous Telecommunications experience required, specifically in the following areas: analog voice, including POTS, Centrex, DID/PBX, RCF PRI and BRI, Broadband ordering, IP subnetting and VoIP switch provisioning. Must have technical aptitude with telephony knowledge, including basic understanding of wireline telecommunications technologies and terminology. Working knowledge of a document management system (preferably Outlook) to manage a busy and ever-changing calendar is essential. Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is required. Demonstrated ability to multi-task between systems. Thorough knowledge of BullsEye’s specific applications including VOM, BOSS, SharePoint, COM, Telcare, QuickBase, Loki as well as available vendor/LEC portals (GUI) is necessary. High degree of time management, and organizational skills needed to ensure timely and accurate completion of projects and flexibility to address customer issues. Must maintain a high degree of reliability, thoroughness, and attention to detail. Good follow-up skills needed to ensure accurate completion of customer requests.
