The Service Technology Product Development Lead will be responsible for managing the business requirements, software development, validation and deployment of Service Technology products wiADVISOR, Recall Management, and Service Library. These software applications will interface with FCA and third-party systems to provide FCA dealerships with industry-leading service write-up and repair order management tools that greatly enhance the customer service experience while providing significant service process improvement within the dealership. The Service Technology Product Development Lead will also be working with multiple suppliers and FCA program support activities.
Job Responsibilities include but not limited to:
•Work with various business activities and team members to capture and document the business requirements for new applications, features, or enhancements to existing applications
•Work with FCA activities, suppliers, and other team members to manage the software development and deployment activities to ensure successful and timely project completion
•Develop validation and user acceptance test plans to ensure application quality and compliance with business requirements
•Manage activities associated with conducting a pilot and production rollout of service technology programs to the dealer network
•Work cross-functionally with organizations within Mopar to identify integration opportunities geared toward enhancing the FCA customer experience
•Benchmark and evaluate the competitive landscape for continuous improvement opportunities
•Communicate program status and produce monthly, as well as ad-hoc, reporting for all service technology programs
Basic Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technologies or related field
•Minimum of 3 years of project management experience
•Strong project management and strategic planning skills
•Strong analytical and communication skills
•Self-motivated individual with a willingness to work with others
•Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google G-Suite applications
•Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment
Preferred Qualifications:
•Experience with software development projects and lifecycle, especially relevant to the automotive industry
•Familiarity with dealership operations including technician and service advisor workflow activities
•Some level of field experience is preferred
