Just like a bridge, our mission in Supplier Operations is to connect internal and external partners to deliver world class results. We build our bridge together on solid foundational values. Our Supplier Operations team at FCA plays a critical role in the sourcing, selection and launch processes with our supply base who provide us over $80 billion in products and services annually. We deliver world class results by embracing our values of Belief, Respect, Innovation, Diversity, Growth, and Energy (BRIDGE) as they are the framework for our culture. We believe in a work-life balance and provide team members opportunities for mentoring, learning & development and exposure to senior leadership.
As a Supplier Operations Engineer (SOE), you would use your engineering knowledge to ensure all supplied parts are robust, repeatable and conform to dimensional and performance requirements, much like a traditional Supplier Quality Engineer. Additionally, SOEs ensure operational efficiency and execution of the supply base and prepare our suppliers with the knowledge and support necessary for a flawless launch. SOEs at FCA partner with suppliers to review manufacturing processes, develop quality systems and ensure the highest quality components will be provided for our vehicles. We strive for best-in-class quality and warranty by developing partnerships with suppliers who provide zero defects and exceed customer expectations.
Our supply base, both domestic and international, is a critical contributor to our success, making this a highly visible role. The SO team provides an opportunity to network and develop strong working relationships with our suppliers, perfect for someone who loves to interact, ask questions, and consult. This gives you the opportunity to provide a significant impact on the success of our vehicle programs.
