Integrated Design, Inc. (IDI) seeks a Data Integration Analyst to join our team in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The Data Integration Analyst will have responsibilities spanning a broad range of client-facing functions including analysis, project management, unit testing and product training. DIA’s are responsible for translating requirements identified during the sales cycle into a technical design document, and then creating an elegant solution that simplifies clients’ complex workforce data processes and calculations. The DIA role is critical in providing a high-quality product and exceptional client experience.
This is a full-time, Monday-Friday position; no travel and no telecommuting. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States full-time for any employer; no sponsorship is available. Final candidates will be required to undergo a thorough background check, credit check and drug screen.
COMPENSATION/BENEFITS. $50,000 - $70,000 annually, based on your knowledge and experience, in addition to a comprehensive benefit package including medical, dental, prescription drug, flexible spending account, 401(k) retirement plan, paid holidays, paid vacation and paid sick time.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE DATA INTEGRATION ANALYST.
Solution Design & Documentation Key Tasks (50%)
- Engage with customer SMEs to translate the high-level requirements identified in the sales process into a detailed functional design document.
- Use established best practices to design a solution, then document data flow/logic/sample calculations.
Configuration Key Tasks (30%)
- Configure and modify IDI software solutions using proprietary tools.
Product Training and Implementation Key Tasks (20%)
- Implement IDI software (both web-based and locally installed versions).
- Setup and configure integration components to connect different parts of the overall solution.
- Train new clients to use and maintain the IDI software.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL AS OUR DATA INTEGRATION ANALYST.
- Experience with data retrieval, analysis, manipulation and transformation.
- Experience implementing and/or supporting enterprise-grade software solutions; preferably time and attendance, payroll, accounting, point of sales, or HR-related software applications.
- Experience in data analysis for support/troubleshooting which should include ASCII files, XML & databases.
- Experience with technical writing. This can include writing technical summaries of client issues, client-specific support documentation, technical specifications, user guides, or training documentation.
- Experience programming or supporting custom applications (.NET, Visual Basic, VBA, C#, etc.)
- Software QA or testing experience, a plus.
- Excellent time management and organization skills that allow you to meet deadlines.
- An ability to communicate effectively amongst various types of people (written and verbal).

- Ability to be in the office Monday – Friday; no telecommuting.
