The Financial Analyst will work for relevant platform(s)/project(s) who’ll direct the establishment and maintenance of the organization’s accounting principles, practices, and procedures for the maintenance of its financial records. The selected candidate directs cost accounting, budgetary control, budgets, operating policies, appraises operating results in terms of costs, trends and increased profit opportunities.

In this role the ideal candidate will act as a network and think innovatively while executing the following responsibilities:
•Coordinate and direct the monthly financial forecasting activities of projects, includes:
•Project revenue recognition (project base orders and customer engineering changes)
•Working and supporting the project teams with forecasting of monthly project costs
•Project invoicing and cash collection forecasting per specific milestones
•Assist project manager(s) and management with understanding working capital/project cash flows
•Prepare and present to management the monthly project financial summaries on an annual and total project life basis, includes presenting total revenues, costs, project margins, risks, opportunities, and contingencies
•Analyze the monthly project forecast financials vs. prior month and annual budget
•Review and approve, according to customer purchase orders, project invoice requests submitted by project management
•Work with project management and account management to support timely cash collections
•Analyze monthly project actual financial results vs. monthly forecast and annual budget
•Promote financial awareness and accountability within the project teams
•Support management with evaluating and understanding financial implications of project operating decisions
•Ensure internal policies and processes are adhered to by project teams
•Support Business Unit Controller and Project Control Manager with ad hoc financial reports, internal and external audit requirements, and other special projects
•Work with project management and project teams with annual budget preparation
•Other duties as required
