We are currently looking for Weekend Crew, Machine Repairers to join our team in Holland, MI.
The weekend crew at Haworth works a 12-hour shift on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. This equates to 36 hours, but they get paid for 40 hours and are considered full time. The weekend crew will work a third shift schedule from around 6:00pm – 6:00am.
As a Machine Repairer, you will:
Perform routine and emergency maintenance on all machines and equipment. You will diagnose the source of problem or potential problem and maintain or repair machines or equipment as needed. You will construct, alter, and design tools, special purpose machines, fixtures, and gauges.
Do you have the following required qualifications?
- High school education, GED or three years of machine repair experience for each year of school uncompleted.
- Certificate of completion of four-year apprentice program or six years of machine repair experience.
- Must have or be willing to obtain a complete set of trade tools.
- Must obtain and maintain valid powered industrial truck operator permit; ability to legally drive in State of Michigan.
- Current and continuing right to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Ability to work in Holland, MI without relocation assistance.
Ideally, you have also demonstrated the following:
- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints.
- PC and keyboard/mouse skills required.
- Ability to travel overnight away from corporate offices, including internationally.
