SUMMARY:
Management Business Solutions (MBS) is seeking a 2nd Shift Maintenance Supervisor for a fast-paced manufacturing client in Grand Rapids, MI. The ideal candidate will oversee processes of the maintenance department by setting the direction, coordination and evaluation of all employees including non-supervisory.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Schedules, assigns, and directs all work within the maintenance department.
- Executes hiring and training process of new employees.
- Supervises maintenance mechanics and support personnel.
- Performs regular reviews of operation and production reports.
- Evaluates the performance of direct reports against their job requirements and performance goals.
- Complies with all safety, health and environmental regulations as prescribed by law.
- Conforms to all rules, regulations and policies.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience supervising and leading a maintenance department in a manufacturing environment required
- Experience with Microsoft Office & SAP required
- Experience in circuit, motor controls, and volt systems required
- Experience in food manufacturing preferred
- Associates Degree in business or a technical-related field preferred
- PLC programming experience preferred
