Position Description:
The Project Coordinator CAD Data Remediation candidate will be responsible to develop effective solutions and provide support documentation for Teamcenter and CAD software issues. Candidate will interface with the Design Team, DCX and other cross functional teams to assist in the development and implementation of metrics associated with ISO 9001, ISO14001 and ISO processes and initiatives, to insure that continuous improvement is obtained through the current Quality process. This individual will assist in the development of new strategies concerning current design methods to improve efficiencies, reduce cost, and enhance potential growth. The CAD Data Remediation Coordinator will work to improve model efficiencies, reduce cost, and enhance potential growth. This position will require the development and support CAD standards, IPS and implementation of optimum CAD processes and procedures enhancements. The ideal candidate will have strong problem solving skills, a strong understanding of Teamcenter, Vismockup and NX software and a strong understanding of Creo. The candidate must be able to work in a team based environment and have experience developing and reporting metrics. Candidate must be able to travel to Interface with domestic and International GDLS members to support Teamcenter multisite issues/enhancements and work extended hours and weekends as necessary. Candidate must be able to coordinate efforts to meet program expectations and execute to an Engineering Release Plan. Estimate manpower, schedule, track, status and implement Design Services' activities. Manage multipleprogram schedules and releases through the implementation of the ERP schedule. Attend kick-off meetings for new projects/programs representing Design Services. - Evaluate the scope of work and functional detailed manpower estimates. Develop and improve quality metrics to measure the department deliverables. Assist in the development of new strategies concerning current design methods to improve efficiencies, reduce the hours per drawing (HPD)
Position Requirements:
Knowledge of Creo/NX CAD Design.
Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Bachelors degree in an Engineering discipline and a minimum of 6 years of applicable experience in the design field, fewer years will be considered with an advanced degree.
Familiar with Microsoft Office software (Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, Word, etc.)
Demonstrated the ability to work with others and investigate CAD issues and provide timely solutions.
Familiar with Creo, NX, Vis Mock-Up and Team Center.
Familiar with CAD standards and ASME Standards for the assembly processes a plus.
Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO14001 and ISO18001 processes and initiatives a plus.
Work in a Team environment.
