Position Summary: Participate in evaluation, analysis, and recommendation of technical computing products with minimal direction from senior staff. Provide technical product support including response to user questions, installation, system monitoring, testing, problem diagnosis, tracking, resolution, and routine maintenance with minimal direction from senior staff. Assist with the delivery of technical services including preparation of system requirements, alternative solutions, and technical recommendations. Participate in the preparation of technical procedures, documentation, manuals, and reports. Maintain technical knowledge and understanding of client infrastructure functions.
Principal Accountabilities:
1. Exhibits high-level proficiency in system administration.
2. Possesses hands-on knowledge of advanced functions and features.
3. May assist in coordinating some work assignments of lower level staff within a workgroup.
4. Understands and follows corporate policies, standards, procedures, goals and enabling characteristics.
Minimum Requirements: Four or more years of related experience. A Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
Additional Information: Strong working knowledge of MS Windows end user and server environments. Solid understanding of Microsoft Active Directory/DHCP/DNS/GPO, Server / Desktop Virtualization Technologies (Citrix preferred), and Information Security experience desirable.
Must be able to pass background, drug/alcohol screen, MMPI exam and employment testing.
