Position Overview
The Project Manager I (Technical) has the primary responsibility for managing our IT project delivery, on time and on budget. Our PMs work in an EPMO team environment with our IT, Sales, Finance, Operations, Professional Services and Software Development resources to understand and define: business requirements, project scope of work, solution requirements, schedules, budgets, resource planning (using internal and 3rd party resources), and the overall project deployment plan.
This position shares responsibility for the success / failure of our projects, it also has a secondary responsibility for customer facing projects. Duties are performed at Lowry's corporate headquarters.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Manage multiple IT projects in an Agile environment. Work with our internal IT, Sales, Finance, Operations, Professional Services, and Software Development teams to analyze, document, and track business requirements and solution objectives. Manages the project plan, schedule, and budget to meet the businesses’ needs.
- Work with the team to estimate and track time frames, quality, and quantity of resources required to successfully implement a project on-time and within budget. Develop project plans incorporating all project variables.
- Establish project metrics concerning deliverability, performance, maintenance, design, and cost. Regular reporting against those metrics.
- Conduct regular status meetings with the project team and stakeholders to assess progress against project plan. Capture meeting minutes and action items as needed.
- Document project changes using our change management process and perform any re-baselining of the project variables as necessary throughout project.
- Prepare weekly status reports on all project activities (red | yellow | green).
- Gather and post project-related paperwork in standardized locations within the Lowry SharePoint environment.
- Meet with the EPMO team lead on regular basis to discuss scheduling, manage outstanding issues, and review overall project status progress (i.e. requirements, schedule, budget, quality, and other open items).

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in technology or management related field is required
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is desired
- Minimum of (3) years’ experience in technology IT Project Management
- Experience in the Manufacturing and / or Transportation & Logistics sectors is a plus
- Experience with Automatic Identification and Data Capture (AIDC), Radio-Frequency Identification | Industrial Internet of Things (RFID | IoT) technology, and / or Enterprise Mobility projects is a plus
