The Social Media Marketing Specialist will execute Social Media strategy across all Social Media channels and support brand management functions. Approximately 50% travel across the US is required. This is a contract position that will pay up to $24 per hour.
• Execute Social Media strategy across all different channels – Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.
• Manage and update a content calendar, and create and edit content, for all daily posts.
• Monitor results daily, share a weekly summary and create monthly reports.
• Implement Google UTMS on all Social Media Links and monitor traffic using Google Analytics.
• Help leverage current sponsorship on social media and digital media presence.
• Coordinate on all aspects of the marketing schedule.
• Plan and execute fan engagement initiatives.
• Help organize VIP Trips by booking flights and hotel, arranging transportation, planning meals, arranging leisure activities, producing VIP Gift bags, branding seating areas, and assuring VIP access to paddock and pit.
• Assisting with non-digital marketing tasks and projects may be required including marketing research, trade-show planning, and execution, public relations, artwork development, promotion planning, presentation development, etc.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Communications
• 2-3 years Social Media Marketing experience
• 2 years of experience with managing Social Media (Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter)
• 2 years of experience with Google Analytics
• Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud - Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop
• Experience with developing content for social media platforms
• Experience or interest in motorsports preferred
• Ability to travel nationwide at least 50% of the time
