Accounts Payable Analyst - (Long Term Contract)
In this role on AlixPartners' Corporate Services team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting tasks related to the day to day operations of the firm including invoice processing for both U.S. and European offices, as well as communicating with colleagues across the globe. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated ability to function in a face-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
The Accounts Payable Analyst role is located in Southfield, MI and reports to the Accounts Payable Manager. Paid relocation is not available for this position. This position is a long term contract (approx 9 - 12 months).Key Responsibilities:
•Ensure electronically submitted expense reports comply with Travel & Expense policy
•Review invoices for accuracy, approval and coding; enter invoices into payables system
•Research entries as needed and compile data for internal requests
•Respond to vendor inquiries
•Set up ACH and wire transfers for transmittal within the U.S. and internationally
•Provide support for other team members and supporting expense documentation for clients
•Other projects when necessaryQualifications/Requirements:
•Minimum two years related experience highly preferred
•Associate's degree in a business field preferred
•Problem solving skills, using appropriate technical and analytical skills are highly desired
•Effective written and verbal communication skills with an ability to communicate with colleagues around the world
•Attention to detail - deliver high quality and detailed work product; High level of accuracy
•Excellent organization skills; prioritize tasks and adapt to changing circumstances
•Efficient time-management capabilities
•Dependable and able to work well within a team as well as individually
•Must have the ability to work full time in a fast-paced office environment; must be physically able to sit/stand at a computer and work in front of a computer screen for significant portions of the work day
