Genesis Seating Intern

Genesis Seating, a division of Leggett & Platt, Incorporated is seeking a Manufacturing / Industrial Engineer to lead production support engineering with respect to product and process development. This position is part of our Work Furniture group based in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Job Summary

Seeking an energetic, responsible intern to join our growing organization. In this position you will be expected to learn the basics of manufacturing ERP systems and participate in software development efforts while gaining valuable experience for your career.

Duties and Responsibilities

This intern will work for the IT department doing software development on internal projects with existing development staff.

Requirements and Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent; must be enrolled in an accredited university/college program to receive credit
• Exposure to the following:
  • SQL
  • Web Site design (HTML)
  • .NET (C# or VB.NET)
