The Global Content and Engineering Unit provides technical authoring solutions to the aerospace, automotive, healthcare and IT industries and e-learning solutions to educational publishers and corporate learning departments.
Responsibilities:
•Technician will be responsible for validating supplied service procedures for the automotive sector and properly documenting all activity(s) performed
•You will be responsible for performing on-vehicle validation of supplied service procedures and the capture of error corrections and improvement suggestions
•Technician will also be responsible for timing removal and installation procedures, along with authoring finished time studies for publication in client deliverables
Requirements:
•2+ years' experience in an automotive repair facility and/or at least one ASE or two State of Michigan certifications preferred
•Previous experience with GM vehicle service and service information preferred
•Working knowledge of the automotive specialty service tools and service equipment
•Individual must possess good PC skills, strong written and oral communication with the ability to communicate clearly
Certifications:
ASE OR State of Michigan certifications preferred
