The Uconnect Brand Manager will be responsible for coordinating Go-to-Market planning for new connected services and marketing promotions. This includes leading the marketing plan for NAFTA connected services, and supporting colleagues in APAC, EMEA and LATAM. Activities would include maintaining a launch plan for new services in the US and Canada and hosting meetings to ensure that all customer communications are on-track to support launch.
The Uconnect Brand Manager would also coordinate with partners in other regions to support their marketing launch plans with assets from NAFTA; responding to inquiries, getting them in contact with the correct marketing leads, ensuring content is efficiently shared online. This position requires a high degree of organization, skill running meetings independently and being responsive to incoming requests, in addition to sound marketing acumen. The candidate must have a natural desire to reach-out and build strong relationships with people working in other organizations, with counterparts in Canada, and with colleagues in other regions. Occasional domestic travel may be required.
This position will also be involved in other marketing activities to promote Uconnect services. This includes the development and execution of promotional programs, review of owner information for proper naming, support pricing and packaging decisions and act as a liaison to one or more of the vehicle brand marketing teams.
Basic Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree
•Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing, planning, sales or equivalent
•Highly organized, able to multi-task and prioritize within a fast-paced environment
•Ability to act independently, taking on new assignments to get the job done; dealing with ambiguity
•Demonstrated experience leading projects with cross functional teams both on site and remote
•Ability to build strong relationships
•Demonstrated passion/interest for technology (i.e. mobile applications, vehicle connectivity, consumer electronics)
•Ability to work a flexible schedule as this position supports teams globally in multiple time zones
Preferred Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or Business Administration
•Master’s degree
•Knowledge of automotive marketplace, FCA products and competitors
•Ability to simplify technical information and present it in a consumer-friendly manner
•Demonstrated ability as a communicator, presenting in front of large audiences or public speaking
