The Driveline Development Engineering Supervisor will be responsible for leading the Driveline Development Engineering organization. The Driveline Development Engineering organization is responsible for the system integration of driveline and manual transmission systems into the vehicle. The Supervisor will in addition to other responsibilities lead six direct reports responsible for delivering driveline and manual transmission systems that meet customer performance, NVH and HMI requirements allowing FCA vehicle teams to meet unique customer needs and unique brand DNA. The Supervisor will work directly with the driveline engineering architecture, core and releasing organizations in conjunction with the chief engineer organizations to understand competitive landscape, develop driveline performance functional objectives, lead functional integration of AWD system software, and lead manual transmission and driveline system performance refinement and validation. The Driveline Development Engineering Supervisor must be a proven organization leader.
The specific responsibilities include:
•Leading 3 to 6 direct reports responsible for driveline component and subsystem design
•Leading extended teams
•Conducting competitive benchmarking
•Conducting ride/drive
•Conducting data acquisition and target setting
•Developing system performance FMEA, DVP&R
•Facilitating development of POC components and vehicles
•Facilitating system HIL validation
Basic Qualifications:
•Bachelor of Science Mechanical Engineering; other engineering disciplines with relevant experience will be considered
•Minimum 8 years engineering experience
•Leadership experience
•FMEA and DVP&R experience
•Proficient use of MS Office
Preferred Qualifications:
•Vector CAN tool experience
•INCA experience
•Software development experience
•HMI experience
•DOE experience
•DFSS experience
