Teach face-to-face classes in beginning or intermediate algebra, trigonometry, pre-calculus, or calculus in a concurrent enrollment environment according to the learning outcomes and content guides provided by the Mathematics Department. Help students to develop stronger mathematical thinking abilities and more positive dispositions toward mathematics as a means of increasing the likelihood of their success in mathematics at the collegiate level. Work with FSU Mathematics Department faculty and staff on issues regarding implementation and evaluation. This is a pooled position. One or more applicants may be hired as needed to teach classes on a semester-by-semester basis. Required: M.S. or M.A. in Mathematics, or M.ED. in Mathematics Education with 18 graduate credit hours in math and/or a M.S. or M.A. in a different field and a Ferris State University HLC approved educational plan. Three years of experience in teaching high school mathematics or experience in working with developmental mathematics students.
