Job Summary
Supports strategic projects, strategy development, analysis and planning for the business unit by working with cross- functional groups across the business unit and Company. Prepares and, at times, delivers key presentations to the leadership team. Span of control: this is an individual contributor job.Key Accountabilities
Provides support in developing strategic presentations and annual planning cycle deliverables for the business unit (S1, S2, QBU, best operated scorecards, priority plans, etc.)
Prepares, analyzes, and delivers monthly business and financial summaries.
Supports the business unit's communication needs, as required.
Develops reports and executive summaries supporting the business unit's annual planning cycle for its departments.
Supports and/or leads cross-functional teams to investigate, analyzes and make recommendations on current strategic or operational issues to leadership.
Participates in the creation and development of the organization's scorecard and operating plan.
Serves as an internal consultant to the business units, as required, to support the overall strategy.
Researches and prepares internal and external communications and presentations for leadership.
Supports ad-hoc reporting including, but not limited to SAP and Maximo.Minimum Education & Experience Requirements
Bachelor's degree and 3 years of job-relevant experience, inclusive of professional level business functions exhibiting a progressive work history.Other Qualifications
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, engineering or related field or Master of Business Administration or other related Master Degree.
Other Requirements
Proficient verbal, written and presentation skills; communicate clearly, with credibility and confidence
Extensive knowledge of databases and data analysis; ability to summarize data effectively using pivot tables (and other tools) and provide appropriate summaries in response to common business questions
Experience with cost and performance metrics; especially interpretation, trending and writing high level performance commentary
Analytic and problem solving skills consistent with the ability to identify key issues from a broad range of alternatives, and recommend optimal solutions for various situations
Ability to develop and coordinate crossfunctional work groups and projects, yielding optimal outcomes
Strong project and time management skills
Ability to work with shifting priorities and embrace new or evolving responsibilities.Additional Information
