Job Details

• Reads, interprets and follows blueprints, sketchers and products/ engineering specifications.
• Set up and operate CNC OD and ID grind equipment with minimal supervision on a Studer Grinder machine
• Make adjustments as required to maintain print specifications
• Grind of spline shafts and aircraft gears holding tolerance of .0001- 0005"
• Maintain proper documentation of SPC data and participate in certified operator program.
• Inspect faces and diameters using inspection equipment
• Perform in process and last piece inspection using micrometers, calipers, comparators, and varius gauges
• Perform operator mainteanance

Reguirements

• Mechanical aptitude a plus
• Working knowledge of Inspection devices and instruments
• Ability to translate prints along wiht understanding of GD&T
• Blueprint reading skills
• Shop math skills
• High School Diploma
