DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Senior Commercial Sales Engineer will sit in the SRG Global headquarter location in Troy, Michigan. SRG Global, a Guardian company, is a wholly owned subsidiary of Koch Industries. The Senior Commercial Sales Engineer will collaborate with the SRG team by making joint calls on existing SRG customers and working to identify / expand relationships with new prospects.
This role is based in Troy, Michigan. You must reside in the Greater Detroit Metropolitan area or be willing to relocate. Working remotely is not an option for this position.
A Day In The Life Typically Includes:
* Identify key decision makers at OEM’s (interior design, airbag engineers, purchasing, environmental managers, and other relevant functions); develop relationships and networks at OEM’s to sell the value of INVISTA innovations and create pull across the supply chain.
* Create proposals, estimates, specifications, and presentations (create new sales and marketing strategies that target B2B customers; position our products as the best solutions for prospective clients)
* Design interactions and develop sales pitches according to audience to drive adoption and enable learning maximization (collection of market insights and value capture mechanisms).
* Identify opportunities for creating value through different business models.
* Own the technical interface with the OEM’s and support interactions with Tier 1’s.
* Support commercial leadership in developing segmentation and account strategies.
* Support the business teams in determining the value of the technology in support of pricing and business strategies.
* Support the development of innovations and market experiments.
