Responsibilities:
- Develop new web applications.
- Maintain and enhance existing web applications.
- Perform testing of web applications, both unit and system, and engage users as necessary.
- Participate in user testing and report results.
- Design and implement user-driven templates, databases and interfaces for ease of use.
- Develop user interfaces for real-time information sharing through software and internet based applications.
- Develop external web portals allowing users to input and retrieve information.
Requirements:
- At least a 2 year degree or 3-5 years of work experience in a web/programming field.
- Proficient in VB.Net, HTML, MSSQL, CSS, XML, AJAX, JavaScript and jQuery.
- Interact with servers using HTTPS, FTP, SSO and API.
- Strong database knowledge including MSSQL and MySQL Server.
- Proficient with Windows Server configurations/scripts/troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of social media: Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.
Aptitude:
- Ability to solve problems with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Candidate must be capable of performing both independently and in a team environment to meet deadlines.
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented, strong time management and organizational skills.
