RESPONSIBILITIES/OBJECTIVES:

Tier 1 – essential to keep production lines running

• Replenish all required material from the warehouse to support manufacturing based on established KCC using required equipment and SAP software program.
• Keep a schedule time / loop of delivering and receiving goods to production.
• Ensure all containers of product have document batch labels required for lot traceability.
• Replenish production lines with pallets and/or returnable dunnage as requested by MFG.
• Tier 2 – once lines have all materials to run production

• Assist Warehouse Clerk with labeling incoming goods and put away of incoming goods.
• Move finished goods as required.
• Move/consolidate empty wire spools and dunnage for return to vendor(s).
• Move recycling waste for collection (pallets, paper, resins, waste oil, etc).
• Transport empty cardboard dumpsters for recycling.
• Keep material storage areas organized and clean.
• Responsible for maintaining 5S of warehouse. Sweeping of floors, cleaning of shelves, etc.
• Assist with Shipping/Receiving duties as required (inbound freight and deliveries).
• Perform cycle counts as required in the warehouse or at the production lines.
• Look for continuous improvement in the efficient and effective flow of incoming materials from vendors, to the warehouse and then to the production lines.
• Cross training with Warehouse Clerk.
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Logistics Manager.
• REQUIRED CREDENTIALS

• Must have valid Driver License
• Must be able to sit, stand, bend, twist, turn and squat if necessary.
• Must wear safety glasses on the manufacturing floor.
• SAP (as trained).
• Read, write and speak English.
• Microsoft applications and Outlook (email).
• Ability to train others.
• Root cause analysis.
• Basic data entry.
• Good attendance and driving record.

Experience: (trainable or already achieved)

• Forklift license or previous forklift experience.
• Practice best safety habits regarding fork lift operation, lifting, storage and movement of materials.
• Choking of wheels by drivers.
• Lot Traceability.
• Good math skills (high school level or above).
