Description
The Client Development Manager Trainee will ultimately be accountable to meet or exceed sales and profit goals in one of Tubelite's open territories to be determined upon successful completion of training. As a Client Development Manager you will actively promote Tubelite's products, add new accounts and increase share of existing account's business. As a Client Development Manager you will actively promote the company's products and services to architects and specifier's in the region. The Client Development Manager position will strengthen relationships with both glazing contractors and distributors by providing excellent customer service and product application knowledge. As the Client Development Manager you will be recognized as the industry expert in the territory.
Responsibilities
(During training)
•Meet established training targets as part of the Sales Development Program
•Demonstrate understanding of business concepts related to your level of training
•Collaborate with the sales team in reaching team goals
•Develop strong presentation skills based on best in industry knowledge of our products and services
•Build strong relationships with the estimating, engineering and client services teams
•Provide timely, quality follow up on requests and timely completion of training projects
(In the ultimate role of CDM)
* Meet or exceed mutually established order input, sales and thru put margin goals
* Develop working relationships with architects and specifier's via frequent presentations and project-specific design assistance
* Educate and train architects, specifier's and clients on the features, functions and benefits of the company's products and services.
* Monitor and make recommendations on pricing
* Follow established sales prospecting protocol
* Service existing accounts via regular/frequent personal visits and telephone communication
* Provide information to clients in a timely manner. Follow-up quotes in a timely manner
* Help clients identify proper fenestration systems during pre-construction.
* Work with the Engineering Department to ensure that proper testing and engineering requirements are met during pre-construction
* Follow up with client orders. Solve client problems when necessary
* Provide accurate and timely market intelligence information for the territory
* Develop and monitor individual sales budgets and monthly order forecasts
Requirements
•6-12 months of training in all facilities and departments as well as field sales training
•6-12 months training with the current CDM in the territory to be determined.
•Relocation will be necessary. Relocation opportunities will be dependent on the need of the sales group upon satisfactory completion of training.
* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
* Excellent communication, problem solving and time/self-management skills
* Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office and internet
* Willing to travel 70% of the time
* Valid driver's license without restrictions
