The Controls Engineer is responsible for providing controls engineering support to the manufacturing teams, which includes business unit leaders, engineering group leaders, maintenance planners, and team members, in order to define corrective actions and investigate for continuous improvement efforts. The Controls Engineer will assist with and/or lead Kaizen initiatives per the World Class Manufacturing model. Work with and support all plant operations in World Class Manufacturing initiatives.
Basic Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (BSEE) or an equivalent technical field
•Minimum 5 years experience in Manufacturing
•PLC and CNC experience
•Microsoft Office Suite experience
•Must be able to work any shift and overtime
•Also have the ability to work independently with minimal direction and function within a team
Preferred Qualifcations:
•.Journeyman Skilled Trades experience a plus
•AutoCAD A+
