This senior leadership opportunity will oversee North American People and Organization Development; HR Technology, and HR Project Management Office (PMO) and associated teams, strategies, services, processes, systems, and budget, all in support of strategic vision, business objectives, and the Gordon Food Service mission.

In addition, HR teams in our Home Office provide the strategy, processes, and programs that allow us to attract, develop, reward, and retain a workforce of over 19,000 people.
Partnering with other areas of HR, the Senior Leader - Talent Management and HR Technology will report directly to the Chief People Officer, driving effective implementation of strategy and process, and ensuring company culture is preserved and enhanced through all strategic interventions. As a key HR leader, responsibilities will include:
People & Org Development
* Creates the people & organization development strategies and roadmap.
* Defines the needs assessment and rationalization for programs and services in the areas of employee development, succession management, performance management, learning, career management, competency management, strategic workforce planning, organization development, organization design, talent acquisition, training, assessment and engagement. Oversees the efficient design and delivery of these programs.
* Leads the strategy and efforts to solve complex organizational effectiveness problems and to proactively shape the organizational culture.
* Serves as a leadership advisor and strategic thought partner for organization leadership and HR Directors across North America and for large scale organizational change
HRIS
* Creates the HR Technologies strategy and roadmap; responsible for business and systems analysis in support of talent services.
* Identifies HR technology solutions and drives implementation and optimization strategy
* Leads identification of talent management technologies, collaborates with HRIS for implementation, and serves as a subject matter expert on company talent management technologies.
Program Management
* Identifies HR Project Management Office strategy and approach to solve complex business problems and ensures effectiveness of HR systems, processes and interventions
* Leads North American HR PMO efforts to ensure HR capacity and ability to execute are optimized and not overburdened. Works with business and HR leaders to plan and adjust HR annual organizational systems/processes deployment and communications effectiveness.
* Establishes HR project management office approach and effectiveness measurement
People Leadership
* Leads a team of 15-20 HR leaders and professionals. Responsible for hiring, training, performance, development and retention of these teams.
* Mentors, motivates, develops and serves as a resource to team and others.
