What You’ll Do:
The Internal Controls Analyst II is responsible for supporting the overall SOX compliance process, including controls review, reporting, and business area support. The ideal candidate will be an effective contributor to process improvement initiatives across the organization. This role will be the primary interface with subject matter experts for the design, development, and delivery of training and will support effective knowledge transfer to company personnel for the ICFR process. This role also develops, administers and monitors progress for the company’s Section 302 and 906 sub-certification processes in support of the Chief Executive and Chief Financial Officer’s certifications for SEC filings. She/he will be responsible for: (a) managing all required changes using Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) software; (b) managing change control for all process documents and control; (c) special projects as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. If no Bachelor’s degree in the aforementioned, must have a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Accounting designation
•Minimum 5 years of experience in Accounting or Finance, preferably with at least 2 years public accounting experience
•Strong personal computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio
Preferred Qualifications:
•Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance
•Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or equivalent
•Big 4 or large regional public accounting firm experience
•Previous experience with financial reporting
•Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
•Excellent analytical skills
