The Physical Therapist assists patients in the restoration of physical function through evaluation and treatment.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Work requires a professional level of knowledge of anatomy and physiology and physical therapy treatments and modalities at a level acquired through completion of a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.
The Physical Therapist is required to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care appropriate to the population served.
The Physical Therapist is solely responsible for obtaining and maintaining respective state license.
The Physical Therapist must have the interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients and families.
Additionally, communicates effectively with other treatment team members when gathering and exchanging patient condition information.
The Physical Therapist must have the analytical ability to evaluate patients' physical and functional status, establish therapy goals, formulate treatment plans consistent with goals, observe patients and document status, and assist techs and assistants in resolving problems.
Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills are required.
Demonstrated ability to work well with others.
Excellent computer skills and the ability to process detailed information in an accurate manner.
