DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Federal Mogul's Powertrain Division is looking for a Facility Manager that will be responsible for maintaining the Plymouth Technical Center building and facilities and directing the operation of all support staff and outside contractors. The facility manager provides support to all technical staff and internal customers as well as maintains contact with 3rd party fabricators of custom development and evaluation equipment. The facility manager is also responsible for ensuring the facility complies with all local,
state and federal regulations. This person will become a valued member of our Technical Services team, where we strive to promote from within wherever possible; therefore, opportunities for advancement are strong.
An ideal candidate for this position is a candidate who possesses a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Industrial Technology and proven professional experience in facility or equipment maintenance with five years of maintenance supervisory experience. Ability to negotiate contracts with all
outside vendors for the care and maintenance of the facility and grounds is a necessary qualification for this position.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Responsible for building and machinery maintenance, preventive maintenance, facility
improvements and grounds maintenance.
•Responsible for providing training for each employee on the maintenance requirements of each piece of equipment including proper safety requirements.
•Develops, administers and monitors a yearly facility budget, including identification of capital requirements.
•Select, install, maintain, modify and modernize all plant utilities, environmental controls, buildings, and support equipment.
•Plan, develop, and implement maintenance programs and procedures for optimum economic
benefits from physical facility and equipment.
•Complete basic CAD drawing as required for facility planning and to communicate with contractor.
REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION:
•Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Industrial Technology
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
•Minimum of 5 years experience in facility or equipment maintenance with 5 years of maintenance supervisory experience.
•Ability to train and motivate subordinates.
•Strong analytical ability.
•Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
•Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
•Ability to manage multiple priorities at one time.
