DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Federal Mogul's Powertrain Division is looking for a Process Manager that will be responsible for leading a team of supervisors and engineers to meet departmental objectives in safety, quality, delivery, and productivity. This person will become a valued member of our Operational Department where we strive to promote from within wherever possible; therefore, opportunities for advancement are strong.
An ideal candidate for this position is a candidate who possesses a Bachelor's degree in engineering, business or related field (preferred) and proven professional experience in Operations. Knowledge of manufacturing processes, statistics, and significant interpersonal skills are all necessary qualifications for this position.

Responsibilities -
Overall responsibility for safety, quality, delivery, 5S and performance of assigned areas. Provides the leadership needed to assure the understanding and use of constraint management in a connected process.
Specific Duties:-
•Ensures a safe working environment in the department by holding supervisors accountable for compliance with all safety policies & procedures, prompt accident investigations, and corrections and closures of identified safety issues.
•Promotes continuous improvement in safety and environmental areas.
•Provides leadership for continuous improvement to the process and the employees.
•Contributes to establishment of policies and procedures.
•Plans and directs with the assistance of subordinate supervisors the manufacture of required quantity and quality of products necessary to fill customer orders.
•Develops and establishes adequate controls and procedures relative to production activities.
•Analyzes, evaluates, and integrates various controlling reports concerned with production quality and quantity.
•Responsible for safety, good housekeeping and 5S in the manufacturing area.
•Keeps informed of current developments in production management techniques and incorporates developments applicable to plant activities.
•Administers personnel policies within the department.
•Selects, trains, and develops subordinates.
•Establishes and directs Daily Management Techniques.
•Takes appropriate actions to achieve delivery/performance goals.
•Utilizes all available resources to maintain equipment at maximum capacity.
•Ensures that all quality requirements for the customer are achieved.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education
- 4 year college degree preferred. Engineering Degree preferred.
Experience
- Five years of experience in Manufacturing/Manufacturing Management.
- Oral and written communication skills.
- Coordination and planning skills.
