Roush Performance has an immediate opening for a Customer Service Agent to join our team. This is a role that resides in the Customer Experience Organization and is a critical piece for enhancing the customer’s experience with Roush. We are looking for a well-rounded person with experience in customer service and possesses general vehicle knowledge. This position is located at our Plymouth, MI facility.
Responsibilities
- Fielding customer phone calls and emails addressing various inquires including but not limited to: order status, shipping concerns, RMAs (Return Merchandise Authorization), etc.
- Respond to inquiries and complaints in a prompt, accurate, and courteous manner following standard operating procedures
- Supporting administrative tasks such as new dealer setup in our ERP system, VIN registration, pricing policy enforcements, and payment processing
- Consistent follow-through, with a commitment to achieving a positive customer experience through every interaction
- Additional duties and responsibilities as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Customer Service Agent must have 2-3 years of professional customer service experience to include automotive-related experience
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment handling inbound and outbound phone calls
- Strong experience in customer service account relationship building and excellent listening skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including professional phone etiquette and demeanor
- Customer Service Agent must have proficient computer skills to include Microsoft Office Suite
- Must have a strong desire to develop new skills and expand your overall automotive knowledge
Preferred Skills:
- Salesforce experience
- Technical hotline experience
- Prior experience as a dealership mechanic, service advisor, parts sales, or related automotive experience preferred
