Systems Technology Group (STG) has immediate opening for Employee Recognition Program Project Manager for our direct automotive client in Detroit, MI.
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, Primarily 8AM – 5PM (This is a Global role and we will need to accommodate time zones (6-14 hour differences) Early mornings and late night meetings will take place, but on a scheduled/planned basis)
Assignment Duration: 1+ year
Work Environment: Business Professional Office Setting; Open Floor Concept - no cubes
Travel Requirements: Minimal, once per quarter at a maximum
Major Duties & Responsibilities:
- Focusing primary on the phases or waves of role-outs and projects in place for 2018.
- Highly professional since they will be working with many stakeholders including executives
- Keeping project plans well organized
- Manage risks
- Keeping stakeholders up to speed on what is transpiring
- Working with Vendors (daily/weekly basis)
- Leading the road map for 2018, scheduling and managing meetings
- Successfully drive the roadmap for Awards & Recognition Program
- Develop business requirements with business owners and interface with IT to translate business requirements into functional and non-functional requirements
- Support development of business cases for portfolio planning
- Ensure adherence to the project plan and for the escalation of issues to project, program and/or business leadership
- Establish and promote feedback mechanisms with end users to help identify design and efficiency opportunities
- Contribute to an overarching solution strategy supporting business objectives
- Perform project control activities including defining project success criteria and measuring performance against defined metrics
- Create and maintain detailed project plans and record meeting minutes
- Present project progress to project stakeholders and leadership
Required Skills/Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience prefers 5
- Strong organizational skills and adept ability to navigate organizational structures
- Strong analytical and multitasking skills
- Able to work independently and also with cross-functional diverse teams
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated commitment to teamwork and partnerships
- Ability to prioritize assignments/projects and multi-task within restricted time constraints
Required Education/Training/Certification:
- Bachelor's degree required
- PMP Certification Preferred
- HR or Communications background preferred, will work well in this role
