Engineering IT Representative

Engineering Operations needs a highly motivated individual on our team to increase IT efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and manage IT software subscription services
- Streamline engineering portfolio to be aligned with future business by reviewing and recommending software solutions
- Monitor application usage and make recommendations to drive innovative solutions
- Architect an engineering data reference library
- Review legacy systems and make recommendations for migrations and retirement
- End user device management including reporting, tracking, and inventory
- Coordinate IT efforts between business functions working closely with stakeholders
- Assist with commercial tool evaluations as required
- Perform tasks in other areas of Engineering Operations as may be assigned
Qualifications:
- Experience in IT operations administration support
- Familiar with Engineering Systems and software (CAD, CAE analysis systems, Software development)
- Experience with Engineering Enterprise Architecture mapping preferred
- Advanced Microsoft excel experience is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, take initiative, follow-up on assigned projects and meet multiple deadlines
- Works successfully in a team environment and dealing with people effectively and politely
- Strong oral and written communication skills as well as excellent interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of Teamcenter or other advanced Product Data Management Systems is a plus

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering or other technical discipline
- Minimum 6 years relevant experience
