For the Engineering Intern position, Team Amigo is looking for a student who can work approximately 20-25 hours between 7:00am-5:00pm Monday-Friday as their schedule permits, at our location in Bridgeport, Michigan. The goal of this position is to work with the engineering team to complete tasks as necessary. Please read the position’s responsibilities and qualifications below to determine whether you are a good fit:
Responsibilities:
- Assist engineering manager with basic tasks and scheduling
- Install and test fit prototype parts
- Assist with testing parts and recording the results
- Document projects and activities with dated, complete, but concise, easily understood documents.
- Update work instructions and item pictures
- Create and update EPRs
- Create and edit exploded views
- Create and complete engineering change notices
- Review and update unit structures
Qualifications:
- Genuine interest in developing products and making them better
- Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel
- Excellent organizational and time management capabilities
- Self-motivation
Experience and Education Required
- Basic knowledge of Solid Works or comparable CAD software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Skills
- Pursuing a degree in engineering
