Determine, coordinate, document &release all appearance reqmts for current &future gasoline &electric passenger vehicle color, grain, gloss, mfg process, materials &subsystems for Class A surfaces of vehicle interior, exterior, electrical &chassis components. Ensure harmony with aesthetic design studio direction &compliance with global vehicle product dvlpmt engrg reqmts &specs by program teams in U.S., Korea &China. Prepare, release &approve Appendix F5 included in eBOM to support statement of reqmts for sourcing (eSOR) process. Organize &lead Appearance &Materials Definition meetings to gather &determine appearance reqmts. Determine &set coarse to fine color &trim design appearance reqmts content fidelity along with the design managers, C&T designers, vehicle &systems engrs, design &release engrs, cost engrs, &brand identity designers from U.S./N.A. Region. Provide engrg &related technical advice to design managers &engrs in U.S., Mexico &China about feasibility &execution of specific grains (technical, animal, functional, organic), draft angles, gloss levels, colors &materials to Class A surface components to comply with GM standards.
