- Must be a high school graduate or have successfully completed the General Education Development Test (GED);
- Have two (2) seasons (6 calendar months) of paid work experience in a grounds maintenance or related field which shall include the use and maintenance of department equipment;
- Must be at least 18 years of age;
- Must possess a valid Michigan driver's license.
